Nicest guys in the peleton?

I know the wiggins nominations are designed for people like me to bite, but well ill bite anyway and remind everyone that even JV while acting as wiggins' chief defender says the guy is a total ****er near impossible to deal with.

Id nominate Purito for his interview post fuente de. When everyone expected him to blame his team, refuse to talk to the press or vent his frustration, Rodriguez said that he was proud to have been part of such a memorable stage, praised his team for all their effort in defending his lead since he got the jersey, and praised Contador for having shown everyone how cycling should be ridden. Smiling the whole time even though it was killing him inside and the day before he had said that winning the vuelta would have been the best moment of his career.

my vote

my nod ( for what it's worth ) is EVERYONE

it seems to me that ALL the riders are decent types

my thought is that ALL the real cants and wunkers prefer sports with a little

less effort and commitment required / greater ego massage

Well I'm glad you got that off your chest although I'm not really sure what 'people like you' are except perhaps a little unstable. I can’t speak for the others but my post was just a bit of fun and was not meant as bait for the paranoid Wiggins haters out there.

Agree with you about Jrod though, always been one of my favourite riders so perhaps you can settle down a little.

Agree with all these statements.

Cadel Evans for the love he has for his dog-comedy gold!!
Wiggins can be funny at times also. But some riders that win can be a bit split personality. My choice would be Degenkolb seems a happy lad. To be fair he's usually interviewed after a win so...

.

How is that hating? The question is who is the nicste guy. If your former ds says you arent a nice guy then that is relevant to the discussion is it not?
You are welcome to come in with counter observations.

Had i made my post in a race thread, you may have had a point but in this case, my post covered the subject matter.

Not sure where your getting confused but I made no objection to your post or where you made it? I only wished to make it clear that I was not ‘out to get you’ by mentioning Wiggins name.

Please feel free to critique the rider’s niceness as much as you wish.

Seconded. I've always considering him a genuinely nice person.

Andy is arrogant, spoiled and a whiner.

NOT a nice guy.

Not to mention a huge liar. How some of you can find him a nice person is beyond me. Biggest ***hole in the sport.

There are actually a lot of nice guys. I would say that there are more nice guys than complete *******s. The strange thing is that most of the big guys are quite friendly and that a lot of older guys who've been riding almost their entire career in the Conti-levels are arrogant *******s, especially against the young riders.

To drop a few names of nice guys that aren't mentioned yet: Roelandts, Monfort, Cunego, Keisse
