Ninja del Giro

We had a bit of fun in the Tour last year with trying to identify the rider whose performance in the race most outstrips his profile, in tribute to Haimar Zubeldia.

Television visibility is difficult to quantify, so we disqualified anyone who got top ten on a stage, and tried to pick the highest placed in GC at the end of the race with that stipulation.

Anyone going to have a go this time? I'll start off with Atapuma.

Would have picked Monfort and then Cardoso, but of the not yet picked riders I will go with Hubert Dupont

Peraud out unfortunately.

I'm thinking Formolo might be seen getting in a breakaway for a stage win.

Jspear, I think so as well, but I 'hoped' for a good GC which would cause him to stay in the pack as long as possible stage after stage. Next to this, supporting Uran will cause him not to get top 10 in a regular stage (or so I 'hope').

I can understand this logic. This is why I picked Fuglsang.
