Ackermann has become a meme. Sprinting backwards again.

Merlier with a pretty easy win, not surprising ofcourse. Walsheid is more of a surprise but got helped by guys like De Lie (not the best job from LTS with such a strong team) and Hofstetter being boxed in.

Not sure who was more dominant, Wiebes or Merlier.

The 3 races today were pretty awful.

Wiebes, there wouldve been some guys closer to Merlier if they weren't boxed in. Wiebes just destroyed literally everyone.

Merlier ahead of Walscheid. De Lie and Vernon couldn't follow at all, let alone the rest.

Edit: Van Lerberghe, not Vernon.

Look at the sprint from above. De Lie and Hofstetter lost all speed because they nearly crashed. Nothing to do with not being able to follow. Obviously Merlier is easily the fastest here but there's some fast guys behind who would've been closer.

Also pretty funny that Bora sent a bunch of climbers to Italy, had a team full of sprinters here as a result and proceeded to have nobody in the top-10. The Meeus DNS did not help, but still.
