Last season Norway won all World Cup relays but lost in the Worlds, this season might be France's turn.

Good to see some A to B racing on the schedule today, but that really looks like a course difficult to make much of a difference on...

Well, this has ended up a much better race than I'd initially feared. Seeing the French lineup after the sprint+pursuit, then the Swedes being without Elvira, the Norwegians being without a great deal of form and the Germans being without... well... literally everybody that's got any of their good results this year... I thought it'd be a walkover, but the relay does strange things.

It ended horribly, and Simon wasn't far away from a Steve Bradbury-esque victory.

If she'd not given up after the long climb she might well have picked up 2nd when Ingrid fell, but I think after the struggle she had on that hill and seeing the two of them go, having a huge gap behind her she eased up.

Klaebo closing in on victory nr. 100.
Apart from that i don't understand why him, Vermeulen and Lapalus don't take a break until Falun or WC.

Dominant performance by the fluor boys in Engadin...

Norway didn't even need their two best skating skiers to take all of the top6. At this point its pointless to have distance skate races in the World Cup for the men.

Vermeulen said that he feels the duty to line up for the spectators, or something like that, but that the results currently would be no major goal for him.

Boe might have already checked out. Laigreids relentless consistency at the minute is quite something.

At the moment Tarjei is actually looking stronger than Johannes so Lægreid is the favourite not just for the World Cup but also for the Worlds imo.

Explains his drop off in form. He's still world class, but hasn't been anywhere as dominant this year.

Shame he never got his iconic Olympics performance. Too young in 2018, covid last time and missing 2026. He's still by far the greatest to ever do it and only 27.

Norway losing some absolute legends this year.

Are the Swedish Biathletes training in Südtirol atm? I know that Julia Simon is in Gsies, but I think I saw one of the Öberg sisters on the tracks around Toblach today.

Anger seems to be using the Bolshunov/Kowalczyk method of racing everything before the Worlds this season. Doesn't seem like the smartest choice but at least he should finish on the World Cup podium.
