He was the third best biathlete in the second period of the World Cup so its surprising that he is not in the mixed relay team.
His results in the last Period were 1, 4, 24, 6, 28, 8. Are those really the third best in the World Cup?

It was a very dominant French performance despite Simon's crash and Jacquelin's shenanigans. Samuelsson's crash looked quite stupid, too, but I doubt he would have caught Strelow anyway.

If Braisaz-Bouchet hadn‘t gotten this time, Michela Carrara would have thrown away Sprint Gold in the standing shooting, crazy story.

Surprising to see Fähndrich on the podium of a classic sprint against these rivals and also first career podium for Vike on the men's side.

Imagine missing out on a potential gold by 0.2 seconds.
Imagine a two-way fight settled by 0.2 seconds over gold involving Franziska Preuß and somehow the least clutch athlete in the history of sport ends up being the one that wins it!

Thankfully Braisaz-Bouchet was here to restore some order to the universe by making it so that Preuß won a closely-fought battle for silver, so it was okay.

Slind is a DNS today due to stomach problems. So not much competition left for Kerttu, after Johaug decided to skip Falun yesterday.

Mike Dixon is so pumped for Johannes Thingnes Bø to win. He is also way too close to his microphone. We could be getting an Amerikiwi medal though, the tendency of the US team to overperform their season's norms at the championship races is here in force, Wright is skiing at a level above where he's used to relative to the field so far, but shooting as well as he was in his run of top results in December, and Maxime Germain has never looked as strong as he does in Lenzerheide today.

We could well be on to a Johannes Thingnes Bø victory and an American medal, Patrick is probably pinching himself, this is the outcome he will have gone to bed dreaming about.
