Therese has already taken half the gap before the hill...

As soon as the hill started, Therese caught her... then just jump skated away from her. The gap is already big and also Weng has caught 24" back between the 4km checkpoint and the base of the hill, Østberg is dropping hard it seems, Heidi's been regularly one minute down on Therese or so on this climb, it's possible...

Heidi would be about 3 mins down at the end based on history (about a minute slower than Therese each year, started about 1'50 behind her), the question would be how far Østberg falls.

Östberg is pedalling squares in the really steep ramps, ie duck walking. But as of now don't see Weng taking 1min30 plus on her unless a total bonk occurs.

These conditions don't suit Oestberg. Soft, slow snow, all uphill. It's not a surprise she is leaking time, although obviously the previous races have taken a major toll.

Did anyone time the ascents? As in, were the conditions slow in comparison?

Think Kalla will beat niskanen.

Johaug definitely first, then it's Weng, Stephen, Kalla (maybe), Stadlober, or something similar.

Northug losing on the Alpe again, as sure as night follows day...

I'd feel bad for him, except that really, Northug failing is far too entertaining to bother with sympathy.

I don't know about the people in the back, but to me it's Sundby, Krogh, Belov as top 3 times. Again, not sure about guys from 20-beyond.
