Jochen Behle is furios about the decision on Eurosport.
Guys have been specifically preparing for this Race and then Fis Just shortens the race. But not only that, they also take away the hardest climb. And why? Because Norwegians and their pretty boy dont' t like the conditions.
Sadest day in XC skiing history.
Schlickenrieder is probably happy though. 50k is a long way.

Kruger continually drops the others in downhills. Changing skis cost him nothing. It was the right move.

He clearly didn't have the best skis in the end.
Bolshunov with a great win and even if it were 50km I said I would have won anyway. Surprised by Yakimushkin's silver

Also, how long until Norway claims that everyone else used Fluorwax had had great skis because of that?

I think people should now realize that Klaebo is way better in classic distance races.
Already peaking in december also didn't help him.

When they made the decision to shortens the race IT was -16 degrees and wind speeds of 7 m/s. Perfect winter conditions, nothing outrageous at all. Tough, sure but nothing to be worried about. And well INSIDE the limits. Disgraceful.

yeah, Klaebo was the only DNF of the day, by the way. Conditions were tough for sure, but didn't look like another 20k would have been a major issue.
