But with one weaker skier always in between the top group it shouldn't be a huge problem, if one fast guy catches someone relevant he has already lost 1min, so it shouldn't be such a big deal. We see much wors in "individual" starts on short laps, tbh.
Of course, but on this course, which is 20 km Continious effort without real climbs, drafting can very well make huge difference.

The seading for the men is still to influenced of the sprint.

I looked at the startlist.
37 Burman
38 Moch
39 Jensen
40 Krüger

If Krüger is in his usual shape I think he will pass all of them.

Klæbo's approach worked out he loses, 46 seconds to Amundsen which is significant but this was the only individual start in this Tour de Ski so he remains the favourite with Amundsen the only one that can beat him in the overall. Nyenget was really disappointing.

Great format today. When there is sufficient snow there is no need doing stadium loops in the interval starts. If only they could do something to get rid of “the trains”. Maybe do like 2 minutes intervals between the best skiers.

What happened to Carollo? Was with Amundsen who started 1min later at the turning point only to loose +1min on the downhill, did he crash?
Barp crashed shortly after the start, but getting caught by Ree helped a lot, they did 200m turns on the downhill. His form is still not last year 2nd half of the season levels, otherwise this course would have suited him (he's built like Amundsen or Bolshunov, big upper body and strong as an ox).

Speaking of Bolshunov:

I didn’t watch the race, but by the profile and what various race reports are saying, Bolshunov and Ustiugov would have crushed this sort of race.

Yes, I was thinking the same watching it.
