Unfortunately, drafting could be a major factor tomorrow.
But with one weaker skier always in between the top group it shouldn't be a huge problem, if one fast guy catches someone relevant he has already lost 1min, so it shouldn't be such a big deal. We see much wors in "individual" starts on short laps, tbh.Do they not have 30 Second gaps? If a fast man Catches you, it could be a huge advantage on the final 10km.
Of course, but on this course, which is 20 km Continious effort without real climbs, drafting can very well make huge difference. But with one weaker skier always in between the top group it shouldn't be a huge problem, if one fast guy catches someone relevant he has already lost 1min, so it shouldn't be such a big deal. German leader at the first timecheck while they are blasting Gigi😃
Slind will beat both of them. What is a win for Diggins against Johaug? Losing 30 seconds?
What happened to Carollo? Was with Amundsen who started 1min later at the turning point only to loose +1min on the downhill, did he crash?
Barp crashed shortly after the start, but getting caught by Ree helped a lot, they did 200m turns on the downhill. His form is still not last year 2nd half of the season levels, otherwise this course would have suited him (he's built like Amundsen or Bolshunov, big upper body and strong as an ox).
Yes, I was thinking the same watching it.Speaking of Bolshunov:

I didn’t watch the race, but by the profile and what various race reports are saying, Bolshunov and Ustiugov would have crushed this sort of race.
Not so far. Shes down by a bit on TJ through 5.6.Slind will beat both of them.
