Surprised to see Stadlober getting second today, she seems to be back to her best. Diggins with a great race, she has to be the favourite to win another Tour as the Swedes are not in great shape and Slind is not a good climber.

Slind finished second last year when she went up the hill.

Stalober also had nuclear skis, she only lost a 5 seconds to Diggins on the false flat downhill part of the laps to Diggins. The Swedes probably had bad skis, because Karlsson lost like 25sec to Diggins on those sections alone (see km 3 vs km 5 and km 8 vs km 10 split times).

any idea what's the profile like for tomorrow? Couldn't find any course info on the official sites.

The heats haven't been published yet either, but seems like Klaebo will end up in a heat without much support.

Lol, this course is a longer sprint course and they gave Klaebo thr advantage to start in the 3rd heat too. What a worthless format...
They should just have done the 5km lap ftom 2 days ago once, maybe clockeise instead of anti-clockwise for once.

Edit: ok, they 2nd loop features the longer climb, but only half of thr 2nd climb. What s waste...

This is the most pathetic thing that I've ever watch in the world of cross country skiing. At least if they held a final after this with the first couple of skiers of each heat it would have been a bit better but as it stands its nothing more than a gamble.
