Every time I come to the forum this week my security software warns me that it blocked a connection because of a security certificate issue (I assume from one of the banners/adds ). Anyone else getting this?

Not for me. But suddenly every time I want to get on Facebook ( support grp) I have to prove I’m not a robot.

Is there anything odd about the time / day / year setting on your computer?
Those 'certificate errors' are often due to certificates that have expired, or when the name on the cert doesn't match the website.

No, and it happens on both my home and work PCs. Based on my (limited) understanding, you are correct about expired credentials, but those can lead to security issues so they are just as dangerous as more obvious threats.

When I have gotten those notices, there's usually a button to click for something like 'what is the problem',
Or when clicking on 'ignore warning' it then shows the certificate that is causing the problem BEFORE actually going to the questionable website.

What is the website that seems to be causing the problem - I don't get those errs here.

I’m not getting the errors, but I’m also using Brave as my browser so it might block this by default
