NovitzkyÂ’s European vacation

Novitzky’s European vacation

Who's he going to talk to? Who should he interview?

Interpol should provide some interest information. Swizterland will be a key destination.

if he's indeed traveling to europe, i don't think it's for individual interviews with potential witnesses. that would be easy enough by using technology.

i'd think he's more interested in meeting his colleagues and exploring and facilitating cooperative agreements.

he may also be traveling to say hi to the hog who just went on a 2 months vacation:p

and bordry is also a free man now who can share a thing or two.

With respect, face to face interviews are essential in the evidentiary game. I know this from long experience. Won't call a witness unless I've done a face to face. May also wish to "do a view" of some sites such as the Girona apartment and the relevant labs.

In addition to interviewing folks, I wonder if he could be coming to personally escort the '99 samples and various other samples or physical evidence to the US. Chain of custody and all that.

Also, I would bet he might be stopping in Switzerland to look over some bank accounts, based on one of Floyd's assertions being about FL being told to hide his money in Swiss banks to avoid taxes. Novi's IRS experience could be very helpful there, and haven't Swiss laws been changed recently so that info is not necessarily so secret anymore?

Just a few guesses.

He should be asked before he goes and after he returns...how much did this cost? Do you need to make a return trip? Do any of the Euro Governments want to spend their cash instead of ours?

The Swiss have indeed much to the joy of tax and revenue authorities around the world. My country has recently brought down several political, entertainment and sports "stars" with newly accessible Swiss evidence.

Will Novitzky be able to enjoy any upper tier cross races or 6 day bike races while in Europa?

No, apparently he is going to ride the whole route of the 1999 TdF. He is actually going to do it twice; once clean and then again using EPO.

After that he is spending two weeks visiting Spanish beef farms.

?? So I want the government to prioritize spending so that millions of dollars are not dumped down the drain chasing some one balled ego maniac bicycle racer and that makes me a supporter of the war?? The war on drugs? The war in Iraq? The war against 11 speed chains? I would gladly take a few million dollars from the DOD and put it toward physical fitness for everybody from fat kids to fat adults and I would see it as a good redirection of government funds. Watching over 50$ million!!! already spent on BALCO is dumb..and watching Barry Bonds sit in a box seat watching SF Giants beat the Rangers is proof that NOvitzky is not batting a 1000 for catching dopers.

How large does Armstrong's crime have to be to investigate him?

Bonds case goes to trial early next year.

If the investigation itself actually creates the crime (perjury)? I suppose....

Otherwise, if there is a crime, it definitely warrants an investigation. But what is that exactly? Contractual fraud?

I can't wait to see how all this plays out.

Barry doesn't seem worried. At all! Did you see the Blood and drugs vid?

Victor Conte dissing Novitzky. Victor still owns the lab. Wow!
