Now it's time to take down Livestrong ... or at least put Armstrong a million miles away from it. It should be unacceptable to Nike and other supporters to have Armstrong still lurking on the board of directors.

Lance Armstrong, August 23 2012:

USADA cannot assert control of a professional international sport and attempt to strip my seven Tour de France titles. I know who won those seven Tours, my teammates know who won those seven Tours, and everyone I competed against knows who won those seven Tours. We all raced together. For three weeks over the same roads, the same mountains, and against all the weather and elements that we had to confront. There were no shortcuts, there was no special treatment. The same courses, the same rules. The toughest event in the world where the strongest man wins. Nobody can ever change that. Especially not Travis Tygart.

Pat McQuaid, October 22 2012:

Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling. He deserves to be forgotten.

So Tygart could.

That's right, had forgotten about their promise !

It's a "drag innit" for Dopestrong? That would be a brutal day for anyone but for a sociopath it has to be hellish! I wonder if he'd be able to say the same thing he said on Saturday, ''I've been better, but I've been worse too"...another cheap shot at you know what.

In any case more is coming along, ZERO TDF title -> no SCA bonus, doesn't matter anymore whether he doped or not to achieve the wins (the loophole in the original contact), he might as well hand back all the money ASAP (if he has it) in hope that they don't ask for penalties and interest. He still wouldn't be admitting to doping, just that he didn't win these titles officially!

This made me smile, check out wikipedia, finally correct:

Some flukes here and there around 1993-1996 though.

eg the aptly named 1st Thrift Drug Classic

While your observation is astute, trust you know that he paid the competition to win that race.

To your point, it is kind of a complete statement on Lance, though. Cheating on a Drug Classic.

Dave.

^^^ :D

didn't know that, actually. not a fluke then. cheating on a drug classic has a nice clang to it, however.

Steve Swart provided testimony in his SCA deposition that Lance paid his team $50k to not contest. Phil Anderson was asked about it last week (Swart testified that Phil was present during the 'contract' dialog with Lance).

Dave.

Just ran across a discussion that made me laugh:
A: So Armstrong only keeps his first place on the moon. Well, that still makes him exceptional I guess.
B: You mean that trumpeter?
C: Oh, he doped as well?
A: Yes, and the other Beatles members as well, that's a known thing.

Congratulations to Abraham Olano, bronze medal winner of the Men's Time Trial of the 2000 summer Olympics.

Armstrong.
Armstrong was a hero for returning from cancer and winning those Tours!
Except, now he didn't! Yes, he returned from cancer, and he did ride, I guess nobody can take that away from him. He just didn't win, he never won.
Now, now he's just a nobody.
On the other hand; those guys he tried to turn into nobodies, Bassons, Simeoni, probably other guys as well, now they are the heroes. They've always been heroes, just took too long for the world to see it!
He, Armstrong, he could've been that person, he could've been that hero! He could've been the person who spoke tirelessly against the whole organized doping issue.
The way I see it doping is the cancer of cycling, and if Armstrong hates cancer, and loves cycling as much as he claims, shouldn't he have been doing everything in his power to stop the doping? Even if it meant risking his career...
Instead he just helped creating the biggest lose-lose situation ever...

Lance Armstrong, Usain Bolt,"Hussein Obama II" accused and stripped: first of 6 acts June 29 2012, next 5 to follow in 2012
published June 29, 2012 references articles with the script of Lance to be falsely accused as early as 2004 (verifiable at webarchive.org)
http://www.christianforums.com/t7669035/

Last Prophet predicted 2004 that the greatest cycling champion ever, Lance Armstrong, would be executed the same way as Marion Jones:
- first: falsely accused of doping, as many others before, part of the agenda behind the illuminati doping conspiracy; (1)
- second: all major TITLES erased from the official medals table, which is also part of the "Rewrite History" agenda pushed to the utter limits.

In 2007 Last Prophet explained that Usain Bolt would be executed the same way as Lance Armstrong.
In 2008 after Usain Bolt set his world records at the Beijing Olympics, Last Prophet explained that Usain Bolt became the fastest man ever AND FOREVER.
