A leading New Jersey psychologist believes Lance Armstrong is a classic narcissist who is clinging to his “tattered heroic façade.”

“Armstrong’s failure to come clean even in the face of undeniable evidence further belies his need to cling to some remnant of his tattered heroic façade,” Dr. Sam Von Reiche told Celebuzz.

“His inability to take responsibility for his actions is a classic hallmark of narcissistic personality.”

Dr. Von Reiche wrote a blog exclusively for Celebuzz examining the seven-time Tour De France champion in the wake of his first public appearance since the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) released its scathing report on his use of performance enhancing drugs.

Whew! I wonder what Wonderboy's cut of the deal was. That's how that works you know. Investors put up money to fund a bond that benefits their special interests. Awesome ROI, right?

To date there have been seven resignations from the Institute in rapid succession by leading scientists because of the unethical and unprofessional actions of the Board in approving the $20 million commercialization project.

I'm shocked to hear Wonderboy's name associated with unprofessional and unethical use of resources. :D

Betsy Andreau and Emma O'Reilly are highlighted on NBC's Rock Center. It is very good to see the mainstream media showing the vindictive nature of Armstrong. Betsy is a bad-assed woman! She even busted the balls of the journalist, Harry Smith, for being part of the complacent media and not asking the hard questions!

Boy, the comments section is very pro Lance, with a lot of posters putting Betsy down at every turn. Are the Lance-Bots still in business?

Armstrong is beyond a Narcissist -- he is an all-out Psychopath (technically Anti-Social Personality Disorder).

However, all Psychopaths have strong Narcissistic traits, as both are Axis II, Cluster B Personality Disorders.

Not sure if this has been posted before but a fairly detailed analysis of the Armstrong donation(s) to UCI by Michael Ashenden

http://www.siab.org.au/58dgETdx002ag/ArmstrongTriangle.pdf

Just read this document from beginning to end. It is interesting that Ashenden does not state the obvious conclusion:

1. Armstrong made the $25,000 donation to help the Lausanne lab for its cooperation in determining that the 2001 EPO case at TdS was deemed only suspicious, and not positive. The Sysmex machine ended up at that lab!

2. The 2nd donation for $100,000 was to help pay for UCI's costs of commissioning the "independent" Vrijman report, to give Armstrong official cover of "never tested positive".

The conflicting and confusing statements by Verbruggen, McQuaid, Armstrong and Stapleton make sense when you consider the above. It is simply not believable that there was nothing to hide when you consider the amount of money, the timing of the payments, the obvious attempts to obfuscate and the fact that Armstrong bragged to both Floyd and Tyler about getting the positive to go away.

Wish someone would have the authority over UCI to call for an actual investigation. All it would take is to get Verbruggen, McQuaid under oath to answer a few questions - and to get the actual payments and their timing out in the open.

"Do you remember some of the names Lance called you through the years?"

Betsy: "Fat, Ugly, Hateful, Vindictive, Crazy, obsessed... but he never called me a liar...never a liar!"

Lool what a di*khead, no wonder he couldn´t handle Betsy.

Probably the best and most knowledgable journalist in Norway about doping in cycling had an article in the paper today about Armstrongs appearance in Oslo 2009 and the fee he got.

The fee was about 400k USD and the norwegian cycling federation was under the impression that the fee would go to Livestrong. (This was comeback cancer awareness tour for Armstrong) When the money was to be transferred, the federation was advised by Armstrongs agent to transfer it to Armstrongs account. Federation was disappointed by this.

The best part though is a qoute from Livestrongs communication person: "Livestrong has as a rule to not mix up and/or recieve any payments from Armstrongs speaking(etc) gigs."

So then we know. Armstrong pockets all money. Even during his this one is on me cancer awareness comeback,

Norwegian Federation should inform the IRS of the payment.

Here you go:
Armstrong announced his plans in a September 2008 Vanity Fair interview, in which he said his return would be built around what he called a “global cancer summit.” The comeback was portrayed as a completely charitable mission. “I am essentially racing for free,” he told the magazine. “No salary. No bonus. This one’s on the house.”

It looks like these comments came from ignorant people who believe everything good that they have heard about Armstrong and who don't have a clue about cycling. Typical Americans who believe everything the media hands them, and up until now, the mainstream media was treating Armstrong like a saint.
