i know i am in the minority here but i wonder if all the people that have hung lance armstrong out to dry will do anything remotely close to what this man has done for charity , raising millions and millions for the battle against cancer would surely deserve this matter to have been dealt with a lot better ...

Did he get up and actively raise all these $$$ through sheer hard work and self sacrifice? He didn't lift a finger. He rode a huge wave of deceit and built a brand, including his 'charity', on an illusion. Deliberately.

all though sport in general has cleaned its act up last few years to clean up all the performance enhancing drugs , it was a level playing field for a very long time as they were ALL on them . if all this testing was done 2O years ago there would be hundreds of world and olympic champions in all sports thrown to the wolves . {well a few have , not many}

if you had to hand the titles back to the competitors finishing behind you in these events then you would probably have to go back to the guy that finished 67th before you found someone totally clean .

disgusting treatment of a sporting legend in my opinion !!

any links where he raised money that was used to battle cancer?

Did he pay for treatment for those who couldn't afford cancer treatment?

I thought it was all about awareness!

We are pretty much all aware that the cheater was doing it for the wrong reasons, to make himslef a fortune and using funds keep the doping at the front door for 15 years.

He didn't notice he left the back door open to Landis:D

True, he did raise a lot of money. Just a shame it was all on a lie...

--deleted zealot-ish rant--

I must admire your Chutzpa. You are either one of the last of Armsrongs minnions or you're so divorced from reality that you woke up this morning and thought you were an onion.
But really, if you don't wanna end up in a padded cell, just take that pathetic drivel somewhere else. Nobody's believing it. Oh and say Hi to Lance when you collect the cookies for spamming this thread.

I found this apropos:

The alpha ...and the omega?

The conditions didn't spawn Lance. That was his own underhanded doing, but the corrupt minions at UCI allowed him to prosper.

The conditions spawned Lance, and those same conditions could spawn another Lance tomorrow. Nothing significant has changed.

Are you arguing that cycling is "cleaner now" and that it's "turned a corner" on "The Past?"

Surprised Lance removed his Tour wins from his twitter.

I'd guess Armstrong is going through seven stages of grieving right now probably denial, then anger etc. I'm not a psychologist.

I'd really like him to come clean and take down Hein and Pat.

Livestrong funds don't go toward cancer research. They don't actually fight "the battle against cancer".

No, it wasn't a level playing field. Doping is not equal, that's the point.

if you had to hand the titles back to the competitors finishing behind you in these events then you would probably have to go back to the guy that finished 67th before you found someone totally clean .
So let the doper who finished ahead of all the other dopers keep it?

disgusting treatment of a sporting legend in my opinion !!
He never would've been a sporting legend without doping.

I love this. You are so cute.

As someone once said, "I feel sorry for you."

Lance paid Ferrari over $1m.

Please explain how your level playing field allowed others to compete when Lance was spending $1m for doping advice alone. Lance was having EPO and blood personally couriered to him mid-Tour.

The playing field could not have been more distorted.

Other dopers were driving a Chevy Vega while Lance was literally and figuratively driving a Ferrari.

Dave.

This is clear indication that he has accepted UCI's sanctions. Each little move is inching towards a confession to me.

Last Prophet explained immediately after the illuminati were forced to use plan B for the 2008 "election" and have "Obama" play counterfeit president and have him detonate as fake suicide bomber (like Nixon) later, that illuminati actor "Obama" would be executed the same way (2) as the two greatest sports champions ever, Armstrong and Bolt:
- accused of all sort of crimes (forging birth certificate; murdering "granny", etc);
- stripped of his title, with Hillary Clinton declared 44th president and successor of GW Bush.

All this part also of the supervised ethnic civil war script, to be launched together with the collapse of banks and anihilation of savings and pension funds.

The first of these six acts (accusation, titles stripping of Armstrong, Bolt and "Obama") timely took place (3) on June 29, 2012, hours before the start of the Tour de France.
The next five acts won't take as long as the first did. Actually they are all scheduled for 2012.

Added October 22 2012: the second act, with Lance stripped of all titles.

I hate when they pull the charity line when Livewrong is nothing but a sham

This needs to be exposed before he confesses

Mouse over the international survey results: only 1% different. So therefore, it is only 1% less embarrassing not to be an American
