You see - you missed the reason why RR posted the foto - it was for the rather enlightening comment; which you conveniently ignored:

I disagree. I think it would have been a USPS rider who raced on the world's team that year. JV/CVdV/DC per RR. Or maybe the person who threw Kirsten under the bus heard about it secondhand?

Morality is subjective. Kristen understood how pro cycling worked in the 1990s and believed in that context she was not lacking integrity and indeed she was helping her country level the playing field at the worlds. Some people also think her willingness to stand strong and not seek to save herself when the feds came calling was an act of bravery and integrity. We have to accept that morality isn't only something that is set in governing bodies and laws. Life is more complex than that.

A great example would be the be tea-totalled Betsy and her betrayal of Lance Armstrong's hospital room conversation and the vindictive way she has tried to ruin him as being immoral. Some think it's absolutely fantastic.
