Those who watched The Armstrong Lie cannot get the image of Emile Vrijman out of their head. Creepy guy who was clearly lying. In this movie that role is played by Craig Nichols.

reminded me of Jabba the Hutt..I will not do a Granville and post suitable pic..mental image enough..:p

i've always found vrijman one of the most disturbing characters in the whole saga.
wada crushed his report, but nobody listened to wada.

to realize that vrijman was once the head of the dutch anti-doping agency...

Didn't Herman call the Hamilton piece a wham-bam-thank-you maam piece of journalism on Lance? I can't remember the exact quote or context, but I do recall laughing my **** off at it.

You guys can cut out BPCs comments if you want, I guess I can understand that given the history - but I don't appreciate your cutting out mine. That just smacks of censorship, and I think it's disgraceful.
Dont worry Max, this topic has become the saddest part of CN forum where only one vision is allowed, with tailwind that is, tailwind; no pun intended.

Well, to be humane, this guy might have a medical condition. But the con that he and UCI pulled is sickening. That's why I give a cringed giggle when Lance spins "The Level Playing Field" manure.

You can't forget this beauty with the BBC at the time of the Reasoned Decision. When questioned about a lie detector test, he said Lance may take one, then realises he was digging a hole and cuts the interview short in hilarious fashion. It's still funny listening back to it again.

Excellent, Tim's voice reminded me of someone, and they look alike too, the (original) Boss Hog.......

More of Tims finest.

This is a transcript from the SCA case Tim is interviewing an SCA executive. At least he has a good sense of humour.
Q. Herman -
Now, down in the next paragraph -- I mean, not the next paragraph, two paragraphs down, see the one that starts with Betsy and Frankie?
A. Uh-huh.
Q. Frankie and Betsy are the home run. Now, as of - that's a pejorative term that means essentially knocking it out of the park, right? .
A. Yes.
Q. And-
A. Pejorative?
Q. Well-
A. I don't agree that it's a pejorative term.
Q. Okay. Okay. My vocabulary is not as big as I think it is, I guess, but anyway -- but in any event--
ARBITRATOR CHERNICK: Do you want a ruling on that, Mr. Herman?
MR. HERMAN: Please don't, at least not on the record.
MR. TILLOTSON: You can just do the CliffsNote version.
MR. HERMAN: Exactly.

ESPN - June 2006.
"There were probably 10 people in the room. Betsy was apparently the only one that recalls this alleged incident."

BBC - October 2012.
"Of those, 11 came forward. Many others would and have refuted many of the allegations. Other than Tyler Hamilton, Frankie Andreu, Floyd Landis and Jonathan Vaughters I'm not calling anyone a liar - but I am calling those four liars."

USA Today - October 2013.
"We say the settlement agreement is final,. We're pretty confident that's going to be the case."

Given how long we've been waiting for a perjury case, with not a peep from anyone either in some kind of judicial or law enforcement role it's not happening.

It's open season on lying in arbitration. Apparently, it has been for quite a long time.

I'd like to be wrong on this matter. Really.

I hear you and empathize with you. I suspect most parties engaged in arbitration are more interested in settling the case as opposed to losing sleep over the odd perjury here or there.

However the SCA arbitration is not your usual run of the mill arbitration, having regard to what we now know is LA's massive fraud. I suspect the District Attorney's office is not going to act unilaterally unless there is a specific complaint from a party to the arbitration.

At this stage all Tillotson wants is SCA' money back and a complaint of perjury does not further that end.

Lance comes across as such a thug in those deposition tapes. It's so apparent and appalling now. I bet even he cringes when watching them.

I bet he doesn't, he probably just feels hate to those who placed him there.
