I am hesitant to intervene in the petty bickering that seems to have taken over these forums, but you hit on the key reason why the haters remain motivated.
It isn't about the doping! It is about all the rest - willfully destroying detractor's lives, using cancer to finance an ostentatious lifestyle, relentless need for attention....
A picture of a half-naked Lance partying with teenagers begs mockery. If he can't refrain from putting himself in this type of situation at the same time he is attempting to maintain his public presence and obtain forgiveness, then he is fair game.
The fact that Armstrong is the poster boy for doping, past and present, is nobody's fault but his own.
When he disappears, so will the haters. Simple as that.
