Hahahahaha, beat me to it Chewie. I had a hearty laugh when I saw that. McQuack is an interesting fellow.

Maybe witch hunt is the wrong word, but some people like Betsy does seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Lance still.

It's like she cannot let one article about Lance pass without letting everyone know how big of an ******* he is and how badly he treated her.

Some posters here have an unhealthy obsession with a lot of things.

It makes me laugh when someone says "Betsy is obsessed"..or "she always has to reply ..." ..but can't see that you can turn it around and say the same thing about Lance.
Sheesh..he's just obsessed with grabbing the spotlight and I just wish he would go away. He's SO unhealthy...
:D

I might guess it could be a little bit of threat to someone's manliness that a woman can be as 'tenacious' as Lance..;)

Go Betsy! :D

Every time LA opens his toxic mouth, I'm all for Betsy jumping in.

Lance, of all people, telling what people should or shouldn't do re CIRC, that's beyond rich.

USADA is the one he should spill the beans (to cut his ban), but alas...

Really? Seems Lance has an unhealthy obsession if anyone does. He just had here husband subpoenaed for no real reason. Frankie doesn't know anything about the contractual obligations between USPS and Tailwind. The only reason I can think of is that Lance loves the fact that it will cost the Andreau's a lot of money to hire an attorney.

She didn't let the BBC thing past because she found out a couple of days before it aired, that Lance was dragging Frankie into court for no reason...AGAIN. But I'm sure you'd just let it go if someone had abused you through the court system time and again...

Considering his attorneys are now going to, again, cost her and Frankie money by subpoena in the Floyd case she has reason to do that. His opinions expressed in public just continue to be evidence of a manipulative habit he'll never change. His attorneys exploit it when he should settle and move someplace far away. If he truly had concerns for anyone he'd leave his money to his kids and walk away.

Agree, well said

Yep.
good old Armstrong 'doing the right thing'..
dropping a depo on Frankie just to add a little more financial and emotional distress...
now..who can't just 'let it go'

tiny contingent here trying to keep something going

The case is about USPS doping. Frankie was a USPS doper. It's quite normal that Frankie be deposed. Betsy can complain all she wants, but sometimes the dopers must pay their due. If it turns out Lance's lawyers were jerking Frankie around, then that would be a different story entirely.

Me too as hoggie has said.. and I quote him..
"That's what a discussion forum is all about. It's not a platform to push one point of view."

All people..not just Lance..are welcome to share opinions..:)

Lance's attorneys are asking for any communications Frankie has between himself, and Betsy. You read that right. This inquiry over supposed "doping," (it's really contractual...how much more information do they need about USPS doping? They already have access to Lance and Johan...I think the doping was established when Lance went on Oprah, and I'm fairly sure the contract didn't stipulate how much doping constituted sporting fraud...) And they want Frankie to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement...

Yea, no fu*kery going on here, totes legit...

I'd be pretty certain that it's not Betsy jumping in, as much as journos puting her at the top of the list for who to contact for a comment or opinion...

As for the latest runnings off of monkey-mouth, who really cares what his opinion of Cookson is.
He really is in that basket of "ignore him and he'll go away", if only he would...
After the feds have chewed him up and spat him out of course

i'm not a lawyer but not sure how Lance has anything to do with Frankie getting subpoenaed?

Ah, nothing like former partners in crime turning on each other.

I hope frankie confessed to all of his doping. He'll be in the doghouse if not.

Arnstrong needs some leverage that he wasn't a ring leader. I think he might try to argue Frankie sourced his own EPO and passed it around.

In scheme of things it means little. Except maybe the SCA case.... but that one is probably done and dusted

Mark we live in interesting times!

Lance would likely get hit exactly the same whether he was a ringleader or a follower. He'd get laughed at the moment he tried to argue that he was a mere follower, anyway.

I have no idea what Lance's defense is going to be. He's floated two ideas: (1) despite the doping, I gave USPS value, and (2) everybody was doing it and USPS knew or should have known that everybody was doing it (therefore the statute of limitations has run). I think the court has already signaled that (1) is not going to work, so all that's left is (2).

If this thing were to go to trial (i.e., get past summary judgment), I would assume that the feds would call all as many of the USPS dopers as witnesses as they can, because they want to prove the massive manner in which the USPS team violated the promotional contract. Any moderately experienced and intelligent lawyer is going to realize this and want to depose those USPS dopers so that he can know what the witnesses will say before they are presented as witnesses for trial. It is just plain good lawyering to depose people you think the other side might call (that means Frankie).

ChewbaccaD makes a fair point that Lance's lawyers are going for too much because they are trying to invade the marital communications privilege--and it will cost Frankie lawyer money to fight that attempt. I can't see the point for Lance's move to get the private marital communications, other than to mess with Frankie by making him spend money. Lance is a complete jerk--news at eleven.
