Lance persists in arguing he is hard done by, when compared to those admitted dopers whom received six month suspensions.
In so doing he continues to ignore an accepted principle:
Investigated for breach, face charges...obstructs investigation, then found guilty after "pleading" (putting it most kindly) innocent, an individual will likely face full "penalty".
Compared with: an individual cooperates with investigation and receives a far lesser penalty in recognition of cooperation.
As for "I've done fair time" ...(egregious fraud I call) Lance, again I call, can serve a 4 year ban, then an 8 year ban, then a lifetime ban. I'm feeling generous ... therefore he can serve them concurrently.
As for forgiving Lance ... I recon when he humbly apologises...makes appropriate restitution and THEN seeks forgiveness...maybe he could reasonably anticipate forgiveness. Mind you, those generous of spirit may well have granted same already. However to anticipate, let alone expect is a different story.
