I totally agree on the disgusting nature of the letter, totally coherent with the lowball tactics employed by Armstrong and his paid thugs over the years. The really amazing thing is that it worked for so long. The game is over though, clearly the self declared victimisation isn't working and they all have some deliciously difficult days ahead.

i like it SO FAR. i particularly like the commission's head cv - '**** Marty, who has a background in fighting organised crime, drug abuse, investigating alleged CIA secret prisons in Europe...'

that last descriptor i bolded may not have anything to do with cycling but it speaks (let me correct myself, may speak)volumes about the marty being indeed independent in nature and mind, unlike almost all political prostitutes in today's europe. i also like haas. i read his cas rulings for years - a splendidly thoughtful and principled individual and an intellectual to boot. overall, the 2 swiss to lead the commission is an excellent move in light of the sporting tradition to rely on the swiss law.

lets hope that the armstrong-verbruggen stench will finally be vented.

A Usada spokesperson said on Wednesday: "Despite Mr Armstrong publicly claiming he wants to help, privately since June 2012, he has repeatedly rejected the opportunity to do so and has shut the door on his chance.

"Much of the information we understand that Mr Armstrong could have provided is of little, if any, value now, as it has already been uncovered through other avenues or soon will be."

He still thinks he's running the show, and it is going to end up costing him more than it would have cost otherwise, just like it did with the USADA. All of the suits, and his lifetime ban could all have been dealt with in a much more favorable manner had he shown contrition, and undertaken disclosure honestly and openly. All we've gotten is measured, calculated rhetoric with a subtext. Lance thinks that's "honest" because he thinks the only real narrative is his narrative. He cannot fathom that his psychological infirmities have warped his narrative into something that is more about protection of self than revelation of the facts.

Thomas Bach head of the IOC has publicly stated Wonderboy has earned his lifetime ban. I don't care who wants what inside the UCI, Wonderboy's circumstances are not changing.

Documentaries about Chimpanzees outsell The Armstrong Lie 20 to 1.

Gibey's other documentaries have quadruple ticket sales than this effort.

It's not a great movie, not bad either just not great. Considering LeMond paid for a camera crew to follow Gibney around and it's loose on facts and not very deep in detail.

Once were Kings or Senna are examples of great sporting documentaries.

BAFTA and the critics say you are wrong. Sony is very happy with the performance in it's so far limited release. You do realize that comparing a movie that have been out in only limited release, only in the US, for 2 months with one that was released in thousands of theaters, world wide, almost two years ago can be considered manipulating the data right?

I've seen the movie. With the other 4 people in the theatre

Wrote my summary on the forum.

But ticket sales wise it's been a flop and declining.

I don't thing people are "wrong" when saying they enjoyed a movie or not. It's up to the individual.

Am I wrong because I didn't like Titanic? Or Avatar?

I don't think the movie will recover its budget. It will loss maker for Sony and Gibney.

I loved his Enron movie though.
