Shame on me for being away for so long. Please tell me that I haven't missed any posts this good in all the time I've been away. Also, I'm begging that you don't tell my evil overlords the LeMonds that I'm here. They haven't assigned me to this post yet.
Also, I thought JV was pretty standoffish at dinner when I was in Boulder. No way was it because I was rubbing my hand on his plaid pants. Phew! Glad to know it's because he really hated me.
On another note, it curious that Lance had no idea that George was talking to the Detroit Free Press isn't it?

I just heard from my a$$ that it wasn't Lance's idea to have Frankie interview him at the Tour in 2009 like they said in The Armstrong Lie. It was actually Lemond who sent him there as punishment for not talking every day about what Lance did. My a$$ is a pretty reliable source.

Who's this source that BroDeal is referring to?

My guess is it's a sock or a slipper hanging about the place in Lance's house.

Or a jersey at George's house

Thanks a lot for blowing the lid off that one ChewbaccaD. Jerk.

They don't talk much anymore. Haven't you heard?

Good grief.

Frankie was DS of the American domestic-based team. Big races then were the Redlands classic as an example. Nobody on that team was doing EPO or blood bags back then. Hell, not even every member of the Tour de France team was on that sort of the program.

You and Dr. Maserati should read Frankie's Tour de France diary. He was there, with the team, supporting Lance in both the 2001 and 2002 Tours de France.

Am I missing something, or are you guys just making stuff up?

That's just awful!! I know money's tight for lance, maybe George can offer him a free room at the hotel? That way they can be reunited.

By the way, hi wonderboy!

Glad you read Frankie's diary. I know you'd like to follow lance and george's lead which is smear by innuendo but it's not working. Frankie's not going to lie to the feds. If anyone did anything while he was director, they did it on their own without Frankie's knowledge. Good try though.

JV wasn't standoffish, he was simply distracted because he was contemplating all the wonderful advice and deep insight offered to him in The Clinic. Expert advice, at that.

Btw elizab,

What was your experience being the ruthless brains and braun behind the necessary USPS programme?

How pissed were you that Ferrari elbowed you from your position?

Now that the truth is out enquiring minds are curious...

No, you got it right. JB handed Frankie the reins at the TdF both years. Pretty much ran the whole show. He was that good.

Why don't you just enlighten everybody and let us know why you stood by while LA won those first few tours. If only you would have spoken up in 99, look at all the grief you would have saved us from. Of course, CN's traffic count would be down but you can't have it all.

Did you take tequila shots with JV in Boulder?

It's a well known fact that Lance refused to be in the same room as Betsy without a weapon in his hand.

Here is Frankies diary -
http://www.frankieandreu.com/diary.html

Please show us Mark exactly where he is 'supporting Lance' and what does that mean? Waving a flag?

He was not a DS, or assistant DS at the Tour.

Now that's a good question. I figured I saw how lance treated the average Joe in public who was of no use to him so I kinda took that lead. I couldn't have had a better mentor. Ferrari liked to use a lot of orange juice in one of his dishes. I know! I know! I wasn't for it but being the nagging evil queen I am I fought him and lost. By the way, I'm a better cook than he is.

OMG BroDeal was right!!! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!

Serious question then, how many minions does Lemond employ at any given time to rule American cycling and destroy that innocent, heroic fighter Armstrong? .

OMG... but he's Italian.

More lies.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day of hating, screaming, and eating to come here and talk to us.

JV was standoffish because you ate his all his food and were demanding two more orders of bacon.

Didn't you hear? George was just hanging out watching cartoons and thought it might be good to call his old friend Frankie. He miss-dialed and got the Detroit Free Press. Pure coincidence.

Honestly - and I wouldn't lie to you - it was just me, Emma (at the time), Mike Anderson, Steve Swart, and The Troll so that makes it 5. No strike that 6 with Frankie but really more like 5 since he didn't do much but sit on the lazy boy. Oh wait. no, i'm sorry, Travis and Novitzky - 7. 7 to answer your question. He does pay rather well. good healthcare too so we don't have to worry about being on obamacare.

Seven? Hmm. BroDeal needs to work that number into his telenovela.

Thanks for playing!

JV said he wasn't hungry. Did he lie to me? That pirck. (I think his sideburns are fake btw.)

Well, RR, we do have the same area code as the Detroit Free Press. Maybe the "stop domestic violence against your husband" tv ad came on during "my little pony" and he was reminded about his good ole buddy pal, frankie the pusher.
p.s. any idea what cartoon it was? was it my little pony?
p.p.s. typing and eating gooey brownies drenched in caramel isn't a good idea.

didnt you say he (Lance) spent months trying to get someone to bite on the story? Why didnt he just go straight to the Detroit press then?

When he threw his Blackberry at the wall in Herman's office the moments after the Reasoned Decision went public he lost all his contact information.
