The biggest irony is the hospital room incident. I'm sure it's not lost that when Lance supposedly blurted out the list of drugs, Frankie failed to tell his partner he was already taking them! He also failed to tell anyone else that he was doing what Lance was doing back in 1996 and he was doing it prior to Lance...

Hard to tell with all the lies going around, Frankie included. You kinda wish he'd just fess up and tell it straight. We keep getting drip feed. I guess the next round of disclosures there will be another "admission".

Nevertheless it was in 7DS, Walsh confirms Frankie did arrange the heist ;)

Watch this space, the BA show to roll on...
Yeeha the show must go on!
I love how out of the blue since Lance became a "changed person" as told to USA today that now is when he decides that everyone should know that Frankie lied and doped a LOT. Funny how Lance let this info slide all these last years...even when he was going down.
Oh yeah..remember that Hincapie even apologized to Frankie for saying untruths that Lance told him to say in the Detroit Free Press...

So you saying Frankie didn't take cortisone even when he just admitted taking it prior to racing with Lance? Ummm, ok.

Detroit Rock City, alright!

I did not say he did NOT take anything.
I'm saying he's not changing his story but it is very obvious that all of a sudden Lance brings this *** up. Don't you find the timing slightly interesting? Silent then....boom.
You are trying to troll it all around into Frankie the big doper that is equal to Lance and that he has been hiding a secret life from Besty

So be doped then. And before he met Lance. That's very simple. I don't need to paint him as anything or say he is equal or not equal. The facts speak for themselves.

Didn't Scott McKinley deny this happened with Frankie?
Dude for real? These guys all on the cort back then no doubt and it was legal in some sense when it comes to playing the game as Race Radio also said. It is what it is. THESE DIRTY *** are all playing the GAME all the TIME and we get played, unless you see it for what it is. The rest is just some Biach's playing the rest of us to give 2 ** when we should be out of *** to give. Honestly Should we care?

Hey DAVE and RACE who is whitewashing WHO? WE are all to lose. :(

all we now is coleslaw and the merry band of the dirty dozen to freeze in.

I missed you Glen :)

To be fair to Lance, if this was just in a depo where he was testifying under oath I could see your point, but he has been saying this publicly, and privately, for a while. Like this tweet from 4 months ago

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for reaching out.

Between us, I'm still confused why all this is being discussed here. What do you think about whether or not the Frankie stuff should to to the Frankie thread?

And, what about discussing the Betsy stuff to the Betsy thread?

Maybe even the Hincapie stuff to the Hincapie thread?

Etc.

If we are going to bring up the Thrift Classic, and the $1m (which somehow thehog has now decided was the Coors $1m) then the biggest elephant in that room is the lack of admission by Lance. Any other innuendo pales in comparison.

And, if we are talking about early drug use, then wouldn't it be nice to have Lance provide us with some actual honesty about his early use? Sure must be fun for Lance to sling *** at other folks instead of coming clean himself.

Glenn, you expressed some ire regarding the $1m heist.

But who was the real bag man? Who was really behind the con?

Why don't we ask the guy that received $100k?

Armstrong bought "Million Dollar" Triple Crown victory, claims Gaggioli

Mercatone Uno and Coors Light riders received payments

Speaking to Corriere della Seraand the Italian magazine Cycling Pro, Gaggioli revealed how Armstrong - by then world champion - arrived at his room in a hotel in Bergamo in October of that year and paid out the fee in cash. “It was a young American colleague [at the door]. He gave me a cake wrapped as a present, wished me ‘Happy Christmas' and then left,” Gaggioli said. “There was $100,000 dollars in small bills in the box. That colleague was Lance Armstrong.”

For further clarification:

Lance approached me before the start [in Philadelphia]. He said that my team, Coors Light, was in agreement and spoke to me about the compensation: $100,000,” said Gaggioli.

thehog would have us believe that this entire thing was Frankie's brainchild.

That is the true fiction, and that is simply not credible.

I wonder if Gaggioli even knew who Frankie was.

Dave.

I don't get the game man it hard for someone like me to understand a basic 80+ v02 warriior and wtf how can these guys get the pass and meanwhile im clustered even if my opinion is worth 2 *** to someone on the way up.

What a day. Completely get the tweets so yeah. I wonder who is playing who? *edited by mods*.

edit: LOL
:D

Yipppee

The one thing I hope is if Lance is going to burn it all down he does not stop with Frankie. I hope he goes after Stapleton. That I want to see.

There have been books written, movies made, more depos to come. In the end the facts will be clear and most will not care if Frankie started in 94 or 95....... but if Lance puts together a cohesive story that details the actions of a lot of people it will be interesting and people will listen

Post by Dave may be post of the evening! or what ever time zone..
and it warmed my heart to see Och included in the festivities finally :D
yes! bring it on Lance! I hope you are having a good time reading here tonight...please throw Stapleton under the bus and how about adding a little more Weisel for fun

If Armstrong outs Andreu he outs himself. Outing Andreu to tarnish his credibility during the SCA deposition, or for any reason pre-Oprah, makes no sense.

The timing doesn't seem strange. Really, it seems insignificant. It was bound to happen, true or not.

Interesting to me is the apparent 2006 armistice on doping among US riders. Was there a detente or was it simply coincidence?

Re: Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession

Agreed, he was under oath, the timing is fairly standard. Pre-this time just dropped Armstrong into it.

I stated a day or two ago that the USADA statements are looking more & more odd by the day. Nothing to do with Armstrong but more so, how the 'agreed' story was put together by USADA. 2006 just gets funnier and funnier by hour.

This post is full of lies, insinuations and half truths,

Everything written there is true. Betsy's toadies bought into the mythology she created for herself and are so blinded by their hatred of Lance they cannot see her for what she is. They need quaint fairy tales of good versus evil, a new era, and Team Sky.

Wow.

The truth according to Lance. ..now manifesd by followers of Cult of Lance.
Everything written here is true.

So there

Re: Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession

I wonder if lance will target all or just the people who did not support him? Right now Frankie is the target but Kevin Livingston has walked away unscathed in this. Will Lance talk about him to?

Maybe he'll just answer the questions asked of him under oath.

It's my understanding that's what people do during depostions
..and then publish them

The depositions haven't been published, only in part by the press.

Maybe we can blame Mr. Landis's counsel for asking the questions which revealed the answers about Mr. Andreu's previously undisclosed cortisone use?

USADA missed that one during their depositions. Thankfully Frankie updated the reporters at CyclingNews.

Lance can only talk when forced to by the Feds? ......Bummer

Re: Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession

A deposition is simply testimony given while under oath. It's unlikely the Feds were in the room, only legal counsel and a court recorder. Whilst one is generally subpoenaed for deposition they are no means 'forced'.

Questions must be direct and on subject. It's not an exercise for one to randomly target ex-colleagues. Only questions and testimony relevant to the hearing is allowed.

Yeah, he denied it. But if Walsh said it then it must be true.

Luckily we have the story directly from Lance, here is his depo. Lots of info about how Och and Phil organized the Million Dollar heist. No mention of Frankie

Lance could be lying but I doubt it

haha!!!

Hard to keep up - lance not lying here but lying about everything else. Sweet!
