Blood Brothers - WSJ

Mr. Armstrong took the wheel of the Suburban and roared off through the streets. Stop signs didn't rate more than a tap of the brake, Mr. Landis said. Some traffic signals were wholly ignored and speed limits went unheeded. In the middle of the trip, Mr. Landis said, another rider asked, jokingly, "Are there no cops in this town?"

The journey ended at the Yellow Rose, a strip club on the north side of town. Don King, the club's general manager, said Mr. Armstrong and other cyclists on his teams have been coming to the club for about a decade. The riders were ushered into a booth. They ordered drinks and mingled with the dancers.

Later that night, some of the cyclists drove downtown to the offices of the agency that represents Mr. Armstrong. There, the party accelerated, according to Mr. Landis. Four strippers arrived at the offices with two bouncers and began performing a private show for the cyclists and others, he said. Mr. Landis and another young rider who attended, Walker Ferguson, said some people were snorting what appeared to be cocaine.

Wow, can't believe I have never read that. Thanks for the link. Interesting that Trek didn't know that they were selling the bikes and wouldn't deny if they had spoke to the feds.

A whole world of yellow deceit is about to unveil itself to you. Happy reading. Don't bruse your neck shaking it in disbelief.

Just as I suspected, The Livestrong Organization WAS ahead of the curve in regards to the critical drug shortage crisis!

Here is a call to action from almost a month ago.

Pol-isher

There has been a drug shortage for years...thank you for stating something so tacit. Soon you'll tell us about how GW Bush was elected erroneously (FLA) and lied about WMD. So glad you're here to inform us of useful and serious information.

Hey are you concerned about fresh water retention in Cali, or posting nonsense about a liar and a cheat? Just think of the good you could do in Cali if you redirected all this energy you have? I don't care what the others posters think of you, you're really talented...whadya say you take a few months off from visiting here and redirect your talents? Seems more interesting for someone like you.

This sounds pretty cool, except the cocaine snorting. I am scared of my drug tests.

I am probably taking a day trip to Austin soon to check out a subwoofer setup this guy has prior to buying some new gear for my HT.

This Yellow Rose place deserves a visit. I'm not sure what the problem is that you guys have with an establishment like that.

Well,

I can certainly appreciate your confusion as I'm not sure anyone on here has ever voiced any problem with the Yellow Rose or any "establishment" like it. The Wall Street Journal passes no judgement on it either, but simply reports on Floyd's narrative regarding an evening spent there, so I am curious as to why you chose to quote my link...

Inferences with no factual or empirical basis can certainly confuse.

well after having survived cancer Armstrong said he would never put anything in his body again that was not 'pure', it is interesting to read about him and the allegations about the team smoking blow and taking cocaine ;)

The long article from the WSJ Floyd was less shocked by the environment but more by the persona Armstrong had portrayed in his book and with the media was much more different than he was in real life.

I wonder if they woke up with Mike Tyson's tiger in their bathroom.

Yeah, I would join you next year. We could do an awesome LA-Party-revival-trip, but we somehow have to manage to gain access to that office later to keep the revival authentic. We'll just ask Lance. No problem IMO.
To keep it authentic we might also add an overwhelmed Mennonite playing Floyd's part. "wow, boobs, omg. god forgive me. are we doing the right thing?"

We might as well do the white line
Cos when it comes on top...
You gotta make it happen!

You are right. In reality Lance is a very nice and ordinary person. ;)
Sorry, Polish joining us would be against the rules. No girls/woman allowed except the strippers and hookers of course.

btw, I would always be the best looking and most rationally behaving guy in the partygroup. :D
ChrisE tends to look ugly, so could be true. Flicker is the HardRock man, the guy in plaid would be Floyd....not sure about anything and still sceptic.

are you suggesting Saint Lance would take illegal substances?
Probably while he was out with Fignon, Lemond and Boonen, guys who have been know to do a key bump in the name of a good time. I wonder why Greg never got down on Laurent after he wrote about all his party days back in the day. I think Landis said that Lance had a huff habit as he was out going to gogo bars and running red lights.
Man these guys are crazy, probably party buddies with Tommy Lee. Lance on a 3 day bender pounding everything in sight at the Viper Room or Jumbo's Clown Room or maybe Butter or The Box. That Lance is so edgy

But I thought she was a girl? Go figure.

Crap.
Does this mean you are going to stop sending me those flirty PMs?
They have been funny in a creepy kind of way:eek:
I will miss them I guess.
BTW, Livestrong bands are meant for the wrist not ankles.
