Yeah... I was thinking it was a bit weird to have the nats. during a GT...

Take nothing away from Alex's win, but for a National Championship, that is an embarrasingly weak field.

Seems like several riders finished but were ineligable for some reason but are classed as DNF - why would that be?

With the CTT involved, it could be any obscure ruling.

Perhaps they didn't shout their number loud enough as they crossed the line.

Michael Hutchinson came 3rd but he rides under an Irish licence so wasn't elegible. He was allowed to ride as he holds BC or CTT membership though (or something like that).

With Millar and Thomas skipping it this year and Froome, Stannard and Wiggins at the Vuelta it was limited competition.

To be fair to Dowsett, he had a mechanical and had to change bikes to a spare. He still went on to win quite comfortably.

If the riders mentioned above all took part I think he'd have finished top 3 anyway.

Who does everyone think will win the Aussie Nats? GE should but Genesys, Garmin Boys ( Haas, Haussler, Morton and Von Hoff ) and Rabo ( Dennis, Renshaw, Brown, Matthews ) will all challenge them.

Are sky (Sutton, Hayman, Porte) riding?

Usual Buninyong Circuit?

Lol i forgot about them. I hope Richie takes the ITT. Also Rogers.

I have no idea but he was listed on their feeder team, to their Continental team, so he might just show up in any jersey, then help the Rabo boys.
