wow great win by kohler, would not have expected it at all. I though frank would have won. But great for BMC.

Surprised, didn't know Kohler could time trial which was by looking the time trial a very tough course. I thought the toughness would play into Frank's hands.

So? He won and he is the Swiss National TT Champion. I guess Jack Bobridge's and Meyer's titles at the Aussie Nats have less gloss on it as the best tt'ers and road races of Australia weren't competing. Silly comment if you ask me.

God forbid somebody having an opposing view. Why do you act as if somebody insulted your mother if they are not on the BMC-love train?

I said it was a silly comment as you are smarter than to say something like that. Many championships don't have all the best riders in it and why does the best rider always have to winthe championships anyway?

I wasn't taking it as an insult but expressing my opint of view. Now you are taking my opposition to your POV as an insult.

I imagine Frank would of really wanted to win the ITT especially as the TT takes plance in the town where he was born.

Fuglsang: "I don't know who Rasmus Quaade is"

Fuglsang was very pleased with his own performance: "I thought I did a super ITT as I kept the speed up in all sections." he said before going on to express his surprise by the youngster who beat him: "I don't remember ever seeing Rasmus Quaade before and don't know anything about him", he said to 'feltet.dk'

Rasmus Quaade: "I knew I had improved as I have had more time to train after finishing high school, but I didn't expect to win".

Fuglsang, Alex Rasmussen, Michael Mørkøv, Martin Mortensen, Brian Vandborg, Chris Anker Sørensen, Mads Christensen... They were all there:eek: Surpise of the decade (at least)

To be fair the whole top 10 seems kind of jumbled up. Maybe he was just the only decent tter in good form. I mean, Coppel, Chavanel and Peraud would surely beat the likes of Lequatre and Riblon comfortably if they were firing on all cylinders.

That is one of the strangest top 10 TT results I've seen. Peraud only 9th?

For the Swedish nationals I'm suspecting a continental or elite-2 rider will win again this year since the pros like Löfkvist and Larsson etc can't sprint to save their life and the course usually isn't hard enough for them to win alone. Would be nice if Jonas Ahlstrand could win. He's currently the best sprinter Sweden has and it would be nice if he could get a chance at getting a contract in europe somewhere.

It is an utter joke Because it doesn't have one rider in it like the last 3 years? Why would Cancelllara ride when he is already the TT Champ of the World? Give the jersey to another rider.
Good luck to Kohler. He deserves it.

No one is saying he doesn't deserve it, of course he does, he rode it. However, when the best time triallist going around (the current world champion) doesn't ride his own national TT then any win does lose some of its gloss.

no Kloden in Germany, so Martin has to care only of his teamate Grabsch

I'm surprised he hasn't taken out Swiss citizenship yet (or he has and I'm not aware) seeing as though he doesn't want to have anything to do with the German Cycling Federation.

yes what they need is more wins. however their uci ranking is just fine they are 6th. yes didnt know kohler would have won thought schar would have done well but he didnt start. kohler showed us that he had a big engine in his solo breakaway in the giro strade bianche stage.
