The Brits have retaliated by disabling the refrigerator used for the Americans beer.

That's only because the American had put the british ales in there as well. They just wanted to get the ales back to room temperature.

Good morning guys. Just got up. Did I miss anything important?

Morning Cobble, you could go back to sleep and not miss a thing. Minor fireworks on the last climb, but nobody was dedicated and Astana let the yellow come back so Contador couldn't get it. I have to say that their tactics for keeping the yellow off of Contador's shoulders have worked pretty well this Tour.

Thanks. I saw Evans attacked but the others in the escape weren't happy about his presence, so he dropped back?

Yeah. Hincapie and Cancellara both got mad at him...... but the attack was on the first climb. He got about 45s on the bunch before dropping back.

Thanks again.

And the Schlecklet mostly dropped Nocentini, but he hung in there and came back on the descent?

O.k just in time to see the stagewin.

I'll catch the other highlights later today on the reruns.

yes, and then neither Cancellara or Hincappie had the legs to go with the breakaway...must have put all their energy into the telling off. lol

So, Efimkin (6%) and Asterloza (3%) did the least work. LL Sanchez the most (43%). Who is the best sprinter? Sanchez? So I guess Efimkin will open the attacks and go solo from 2-3K, which could be enough since he wasted so little energy?

I think Astarloza was at 31%, not 3%

Oh, than my feed is to pixelated...

So Casar is low on effort as well right? But isn't he the least climber of the 4, so he might have digged deeper going uphill...?
