BTW, has any of my fellow Danes been able to find the proper - uninterrupted - coverage on DRTV?

I could only find one that started at 11:00 (they said 10:50, but that was a lie), until 12:00, and then another from 12:00 until 18:00.
Not the one from 11:00 until 18:00...

Why watch it there with inexperienced commentators instead of Max?

And I was hoping for riders from Micronesia and South Sudan, but it turns out you can‘t just show up with a bike and get to ride.
No!? So much for the "Olympic spirit" then - change the rules! :D The first 150 guys to the signing in get to race - sounds like a new Olympics sport- "The signing On Sprint"!

You have to change channel because of the news break.

Here first: https://www.dr.dk/drtv/kanal/192100

Then DR1 when coverage ends (12:15) for the extra channel.

Is Max the 119 DKK/month subscribtion? And what do you actually get outside of uninterrupted coverage by the Eurosport crew thats worth it?

Well, you get all the cycling you want. Plus all the HBO shows (which is quality TV unlike the reality shows you got with D+).

It's a much better bargain than the Discovery+ one, yet people complained almost per definition because something changed.

Of course, if they're going to start having ad-breaks on D+, then Max is obviously gonna be better.
However, they didn't use to have ad-breaks.

I didn't know they began having ad breaks and that wasn't my point.

I switched as soon as Max was launched (of course it helped that I was already an HBO subscriber, so for me it became a lot cheaper).

BBC cutting to some obscure 100 metres sprint event instead of the cycling, is that even a sport, grow up.

hmm, whilst waiting for Eurosport to start, I saw Boardman bigging up the beeb coverage (he's been there since 6:30am you know) and when I switch on its some Brit runner athlete arguing with an official about something the commentators dont know the reason for, oh well Im sure theyll claim as usual its on the inferior "online" iplayer

at least we didnt have 30mins of more cube bantz, for a change on Eurosport. actual race coverage from the off, what a novelty

Apparently it's just for the Olympics.
I mean... if they don't want us to watch the Olympics on their service... cool with me...

Let's face it; it all went down-hill when GCN+ folded.

Hmm, maybe that's a strategy to get people to migrate over to Max. There you get every Olympic event in all sports uninterrupted.

But maybe we've talked about this enough for now in this thread.
