Lol, when this thread was created people were still blinded by Greipel's dominance in the TDU. I think by now it's clear that Lotto will be nowhere close, which from their respective squads on paper was pretty obvious to begin with.

true, it was not hard to predict, but did somebody expect QST to score wins with 7 different riders at this time?

wait until greipel wins ten stages of this year's tour de france.

now really omega is uber strong, lotto will also win a lot this year.
greipel might win 10 but boonen will win 11 :S... I'm counting the prolouge obviously.......

Lotto have quite a good team but apart from the gorilla I am not sure that they will win too much... I voted Quickstep a while ago.. I like to keep track of this battle and I'm hoping lotto pick up some more wins soon to keep it interesting

Thats an easy one. QS will win more races and more important races.

They're back with Specialized (and a nice team kit too) and they win again
:p

it's a joke but one must imagine they were cursed by merckx bikes, all those bi-colour tubulars and those bbb glasses

by the way, first victory for the new Sram Red 2013?

The 100th UCI victory of Tom Boonen.
how does that compare with other famous riders? I dont investigate these things much :S...

Boonen is one of my favourites though, he has many wins in the best races and not all focused on one specialty subject either, a modern day great I think, is 4 paris roubaixs the record? I would like mr boonen to equal that

Second most of currently active cyclists I think. Just behind Petacchi. Or could also be third most after Petacchi and Mcewen...

Yes, 4 is the record for Paris-Roubaix. He would be tied with Roger de Vlaminck then. 3 is also the record of the Ronde van Vlaanderen by the way :)

Jaan Kirsipuu is ahead of him too. Still riding aged 42.

Boonen's green jersey wasn't included in his 100th UCI victory by the way, no team time trials either.

Great win by Meersman, he's the real deal. You should see an interview of him once, he doesn't talk BS about trying his best: he talks about winning.

Yeah just saw the interview with him after the race, great stuff, now he's injury free and only 26!

Great for Lotto-Belisol to get another win, they obtain some more WT points which are all the more welcome i guess for a team of which it wasn't sure they deserved the WT status...

How many wins do they have now?

OPQS : 17
Lotto-Belisol : ?
