95 out of 100 times he won't win riding like he did. Maybe that's why he doesn't have a lot of victories in his career despite his talent.

Why? He probably wouldn't have ridden the way he did if he knew he didn't have anything left for the sprint, don't you think?

Stannard is lucky. If he had lost, EBH would prpbably steal Thors hammer from Hushovd and smack him in his face :D

Stannard has everything under control, you saw it:p:D

Crossed the line at 10km/h faster than Stannard. How is this possible...

Stannard started his sprint early to get the jump and was fading at the end. It was tactically very sharp, like when Gilbert jumped early at Paris-Tours 2009 to beat the superior sprinters Boonen and Bozic.

Whatever sprint GVA had earlier in his career is now gone but the strongest rider won today not the quickest. GVA simply should have stayed behind Stannard. Can't understand why he went to the front in the last km when the group behind was a safe distance away.

He pulled way too much. Obviously he has the strength but he's not known for his turn of speed. Van Avermaet is a bit of a loser though so Stannard probably add that up to his math :D

Stannard was the strongest? He got lucky by slipping away just as the group got together.

Vanmarcke was BY FAR the strongest, followed by Terpstra and EBH.

Was EBH sitting on Boom's and Terpstra's wheel all the time because he doesn't need to chase?

Yes.

There is no point chasing your own rider up the road ( most of the time :p )

What I mean, how could a guy in it's 6th year as a pro let this happen as if he's an U23

3 Edvald Boasson Hagen (Sky)
