15-20kg Remco that's all you need, eat as much pudding as you want, get on the roids and turn up looking like Ronnie Coleman.
He'll have to be careful and not end up looking more like Robbie Coltrane.
Bingo. Better to lose vs a stronger opponent while trying to win thats the only way you give yourself best probaility anyway to win. But dont mind those people cry regardless. Nice and strong of van dijk and Vermeersch. It was inevitable, but some posters would prefer riders racing for others to lose, I respect that they take their shot. If not, other posters (or maybe some of the same) would yell "wheelsuckers" instead.
And what would their respective chances be if they hadn't worked with Van Der Poel? I get that it's boring to always have the same riders win, but I find it odd that people blame the front riders for making the race, while also blaming the guys in the peloton who does the opposite. I'm sure both Red Bull and UAE would have sold this for a podim spot before the race. You know full well that they would have been caught by now had half the peloton not crashed on the way to Muur.
Red Bull had the numbers behind to win with a late attack like Tratnik in 2024. UAE had Politt for the same scenario. And what would their respective chances be if they hadn't worked with Van Der Poel? He doesn't have good results in cobbled classics. Vermeersh or even Pollit, who won this race and was second in Roubaix, are better suited for them. What happened to the oh-so-great Tim Wellens by the way?
please dont write about other current races in a race threadspoiler
He has podiumed this race before. He doesn't have good results in cobbled classics. Vermeersh or even Pollit, who won this race and was second in Roubaix, are better suited for them.
Politt only finished Second here two years ago, but on paper, Wellens is at least the best uphill of those years, especially Politt doesn‘t have the punch to follow the best on the hills and always needs to hope to find the right Moment on the flat.He doesn't have good results in cobbled classics. Vermeersh or even Pollit, who won this race and was second in Roubaix, are better suited for them.
He has podiumed this race before.
Please point me to anyone on this forum declaring Wellens a favourite for today. He's good, but I would never put him among the favorites to win.
they finally got rid of Chronorace. Matsport from France is now doing the timekeeping, who are also responsible for all the ASO races. Some time bending quantum physics glitch must have happened in Belgium as the Top 62 of the results are already up.
I don't understand how he managed to beat VDP in Roubaix. In the last sprints I've seen him in, he's been by far the slowest rider.Florian with the shortest sprint of the year? Will be hard to beat.
Late 2021 MVDP was just about the worst he's ever been as a pro.I don't understand how he managed to beat VDP in Roubaix. In the last sprints I've seen him in, he's been by far the slowest rider.
