Sammy Sanchez has been looking fairly strong. He has to go for it on this stage and try to take time out of Horner and Kloden. The stage should suit him. There may well be someone up the road to take the stage who is not a GC contender but he needs to take some seconds off his GC rivals here.
My guess is he will go too early, (or not be strong enough), cause a split in the leading group, go off on his own or with 1 or 2 others, and then be pulled back and end up losing a couple of seconds on the short descent to the finish.
