It appears Freire was indeed disqualified. Too bad.

lol. THe Pais Vasco guys hate Freire. They gave Valverde the stage when Friere won then the next day when Piti did the same thing they let him keep it. Now they take this win away as well.

You mean the stage where Le Mevel got robbed by the jury when a guy who was DQ for irregular sprinting somehow ended up inheriting the win from Piti ?

Did he? Anyway, makes sense, he boxed in someone who had been erased from the results, and thus from the race ;)

DQ is justified. Just silly, cause Freire can't help it. But that's what you get when the team spirit is too good. Go Rabo!

Yeah, that'll teach him. ;)

And LLS should keep his hands to himself.

In your brave attempts to bait the Dutch mafia you forget to make sense.

Must have realized that Gava wasn't delivering enough CQ points.
I'll take the extra 15 points, cos my team is having a rubbish season.

Too bad for Oscarito, though. It is getting to be a Basque ritual.

LL Sanchez sure started his season at Rabobank fantastically.

First he blows at Paris Nice. Now he blows a 100% certain victory for Freire by ****ing up.

Go Luis Leon

No real baiting. You guys like Rabo, I don't.
You guys seem to think pushing a team mate in the sprint is fair, I beg to differ.

It doesn't matter if he actually got any real advantage from it. What Lulu did was just too obvious and plain stupid.

You're looking for an easy victim? Lulu brought Freire in a position to sprint in the first place. Okay, and then he ****ed it up.

But read what you said: "that's what happens when the team spirit is too good. Go Rabo!" That's a) baiting and b) it's unsuccesful baiting because it's nonsense.

I know, too eager to prove himself for Rabobank. And thus ****ing up.
I'm just stating a fact here. Not saying he is a bad rider.
Just a very unlucky start that won't win him many souls

It sucks because that push couldn't possibly have changed the outcome of the sprint, but hey, them's the rules. I was worried for a second that it was Martens, because after the sprint the other day I figured Freire wouldn't be immensely pleased with him. :p

Well, this is a shame. Oh well, atleast proves LLS got some teamspirit first by working yesterday on the climb and now leading out :p.

He's won mine this week. I'm not a big fan, but he's been very useful.

edit: see? And Havetts' as well ;)
