Sky working for?
Maybe they forgot that Swift has changed teams.
Henao. Maybe in order to eliminate Richie Porte?

Btw, great racing from Gallopin. A real racer.

Looks like an organized chase in the pack, here on the first live images. Bunch sprint is likely

Something can still happen on the small road between Les Goths and Saint-Firmin-des-Bois (26km - 17km to go).

Brian Holm QuickStep DS: "Gilbert taking turns because he is riding in his belgian champion jersey. It looks to good for him to sit in the back"

Richie's famous bad days are returning:
"He was in the leading group after 40 km and then he vanished. When you can't keep your position in a group, it simply means that you don't have the legs. We'll talk it over tonight in the hotel. We're not sure what's wrong. The team stayed with him, it's normal, he's our leader. Paris-Nice is not over and we're going to try and restore some pride before Nice."

Yes, expect a downcast, shoulder-shrugging, fatalistic, mopy interview as Richie's confidence visibly leaches out of him.

Ridiculous nonsense and almost certainly a DS making excuses for egotism rather than a rider being ordered to ride. Gilbert has two GC contenders and the fastest sprinter on his team, yet he's helping a break including a GC threat to stay away. He'd better win the stage if the break sticks or there will be a very unpleasant atmosphere in the team bus.

Big Phil apparently believes he's got a shot at winning P-N!? There ain't no other reason to take pulls and deliver Gallopin an advantage over Alafpolak imho!

Gilbert is a big star, he was monstrous yesterday, let him off the leash man. They won't succeed anyways and Quick Step can just rest up. Gallopin aint no thread for the GC anyways.

Edit: Go Phil!!

QS chasing themselves ... gap coming down quickly.

Edit: Just looked for blue jerseys. Was actually FDJ. Should do something about my eyes.

Gilbert attacking now. At least that makes sense from a team perspective. I've no objection to selfishness as long as it doesn't involve screwing your teammates.
