So it looks like Contador didn't need to go to Abu Dhabi for some chase training, he got some proper chasing to do now! Do well to restrict it to about 30 second loss, long way to go.

With under a minute there still would be a realistic chance for Porte and Contador, but I'm afraid with 50 to go it'll lean towards two minutes, rather than drop under a minute.

They're a smaller group and almost nobody in that group has teammates. 1 BMC and 1 Trek domestiques made that group, for example. Doubt they'll catch the front.
