Kittel is so ridiculous... he only wins flat stages with zero history until 300 meters to the finish line. He should go to the track

It'll be interesting to see if the overall contenders go for a bike change tomorrow. I'm inclined to think it would be the best strategy (if carried out swiftly). Carrying a TT bike up Mont Brouilly is hardly ideal and you'd think a road bike with TT bars will cost a lot of time in the first section. Also could be advantageous in terms of gearing.

Your statement is ridiculous. Only wins stages with zero history...take a look at his palmares. You'll find a minor stage finishing on the Champs-Élysées among other things.

I think is too short to make a change IMHO.

Before posting such a ridiculous comment, why don't you try riding 300 km the last two days in the wind ?

Won't happen. Too short. Did you forget last year TDF climbing TT when Froomey & Tom Dumoulin rode in their TT machine.

Will Bennett race MSR? Only to support Sagan?

Sagan follows the wheels and Bennett sits in the bunch in case it comes together I would think.
My dream is to see Peter going for a solo attack at the Pogio and holding to the end.

OK, Kittel did a bad sprint today by his standards. But today is the exact type of race he usually thrives in. So to criticise him on the basis of today, doesn't makes sense.

And more importantly, Kittel has been in the front group in two of the toughest stages we are likely to see this year. He has been in the front echelon where riders like Degenkolb, Kristoff, Bouhanni and Matthews have been missing at times. He has been driving the race at times, setting things up for his team.

I am far from a fan of Kittel, and would agree that he is one of the more one-dimensional riders in the peloton. But this week has actually showed he has more strings to his bow than I had thought, and it also showed he is willing to work pretty hard for his team.

This Kittel bashing is so boring and predictable. Of course he's focusing on sprint finishes - what a weird thing to do for one of the best sprinters in the world...

Btw he's a decent ITT rider (if he wants to), he can perform great on difficult finishes (remember that Tour stage in Limoges last year or Hatta Dam) and he worked his a** off for Alaphilippe the last two days.

 What on earth are you talking about? He said flat races with zero history which is completely untrue. Flat races, sure. No history? Garbage.

"With zero history until 300m to the finish line" i.e. a stage in which nothing happens
