I would send the riders home immediately. The risk is not so much infection -- although I don't want to minimize it -- but being trapped in a quarantine or stuck if a border is closed or travel restrictions imposed. Think about TJVG -- he would have been unable to reach his family in the US if he hadn't left. At this moment family is much more important than anything else. Just my opinion.

I'm working away from my family right now as well and god knows when I will see them again. It's hard especially as we don't know how this will work out eventually in different places. I don't see how that border closing inside of Europe will help much though. I mean travelling will be massively reduced anyways cos not much is going on anywhere. At the very least crossing a border in your car alone won't reduce the spread of the virus or am I missing smth? I mean it's the EU, open borders, in many places going to another country is like going to another city.

So, is everyone going home to a 14-day self-quarantine? Or just going home? Not starting at all makes sense. Starting and then ending now without quarantine doesn't.

The biggest risk is drawing in public ressources that are needed elsewhere.

From an egoistic point of view, I want to see the rest of this race, but realistically it's irresponsible to continue, clearly.

Am I the only one who think that this will be the final "Queen" stage of Paris-Nice?

Can't see stage 7 and 8 being raced.

The way I understand it, it was a joint decision to include stage 7, so unless an actual case is found within the race - let's hope not - I don't see why they'd suddenly change that decision, especially since I could imagine that everybody would like to know before starting the final stage that it's the final stage, and they already started stage 6...

As it stands right now, Paris-Colmiane cycling race, quite possibly the only sporting event going on in Europe tomorrow.

A pity for the final stage... looks like it could've provided excitement.
Yet, the best racer will still win the race, so no hard feelings.

The stage today is not a lot easier than the one to Nice.

Unfortunately we won't see much action when the riders have Colmiane in mind. I hope they will race it like it was the last stage (of the spring?).

With the new announcement made by the French Prime Minister (no 100+ crowds allowed), the race is likely to end right after this stage.

If this becomes the final stage, I hope it's made public, well... as soon as possible.
And even without it being public, I kind of think this is a time where radios come in handy; with directors screaming at the riders to just ride, because today could be the last day.

They've seen the final ascent now, but they haven't ridden the descent.
It's not that trivial. I think it'll play a part in the outcome of the stage.

Schachmann doesn't look to bothered, I like his bobbing head. nice to see DQS guys helping Bora, not sure why though.
