Well, there is no massive need to Wout to do more than control. Not like Roglic is leading by 2 seconds

I don't understand why riders don't prevent the freezing conditions at the top. It makes my head spin why they are not prepared. Now riders with the hands freezing!

I’d guess this is going to be a pretty cautiously taken descent given the conditions and the proximity of Van Aert’s season targets

Second groupe can bring this back if they are willing to work. Not sure if they are though.

they can, because nobody in the front group is going to risk the first half of their season on the descent. but these guys all got easily dropped on the penultimate climb and I suspect that they will all be resigned to getting dropped again on the last one anyway and that wont exactly encourage them to take risks either

Hopefully pace to not be brutal on Col d'Èze for van Aert to push through and after for Rogla to be his lead out man.
