Because you're blaming the riders, and that's very easy to do from your keyboard warrior battle position.

And afterwards you start moaning about people being hypocritical, really?
I am well aware of how easy it is to blame the riders... But they've chosen to do this for a living - I haven't. So what am I supposed to do, if I think they're at fault?

When did I moan about hypocrisy?

Quintana was always behind the bike with the red flag, no? Quintana cannot be blamed for the speed of the moto.

Okay, I don't remember that detail, but the organisers certainly should have made him wait for the bunch after that.

That's the only example I can think of where 'the riders just rode through the conditions' - the conditions being a motorcycle in front of the riders waving that they should stop.
That was not what I was talking about. I talk about oranges and people reply to me talking about tomatoes.

By following PN only through this thread you'd think there are two parallel worlds.
One where all hell is breaking loose, hail, snow, motos and car crashing, etc
And one where the sky is partly cloudy, race organizers just randomly decided to stop the race and riders are contemplating the scenery while waiting for it to restart.

Netserk's guess as to when the race should restart seems about right according to messages from people in the race convoy to the commentators on Danish TV.
