How is he able to stand up straight without a spine? It's a miracle!

Funny. Though horrible for him as he had a chance for a high finish. He missed the first Peloton with Gall after the restart.
Only postrats hate rats. Some people are proud of being posh while some would find it an insult. But even a rat hates being a rat.
Be careful. You might offend the Danes. This forum is already too much for them

Who is Nuggets?Nuggets and Big Jorge to attack on the penultimate climb tomorrow.
Rat is a common simile to traitor (he shamelessly attacked teammates). Disgusting is an adjective describing revulsion, dislike and that is exactly how I fell about his interviews after the stages. Therefore, I do not see anything wrong with what I wrote. Now, I probably would not call him that to his face but this is a public forum where we banter and have some fun so there it is. For the offended ones replace rat with traitor.I'm no Dane, but calling a rider a "disgusting rat" is way past what I would consider acceptable behavior. On this forum it is though, so knock yourself out!
I'm not trying to defend him or project forward, but I bet the cold may have affected him more than some other riders. Obviously, could be other reasons he looked so miserable crossing the line.Vingegaard really doesn't look happy at all.
I wonder how he'll spin it in the interview.
Who is Nuggets?
The other Burger. He was in Stars and Stripes yesterday.Who is Nuggets?
I've been taught that you're only allowed to punch up, so naturally Danes are the most legitimate target. Can we stop this "*** on the danes" thing please. It's really really ugly.
Sounds reasonable actually. Unfortunately what he's actually saying will get lost and all the armchair quarterbacks will hear is that he was angry the race wasn't cancelled.

C'mon Jonas. You spoke like a true loser. Rain and cold are part of Paris Nice. If you don't like it, you should do a Froome and go to Africa.

While I disagree with the original slur, I am enjoying the conversation it provoked. It's a nice break from people pumping up the 2 superpowers of Visma and UAE.That's a good lesson, but nonetheless I think it's ugly in general. If you take it as a token of appreciation, all the better for you, but we should draw a line at some point to have a civil discussion. Because usually these kind of things only lead to hate and devision. And I think we have enough of that already at the moment.
That being said I really don't agree with Vingegaard that just because your cold, you shoudln't race in an outdoor sport. Security I get as an argument, and I think it's quite fair to neutralize parts of the race when they are to dangerous, but this seems a bit lame to me. Oh I am still cold.
Woah, easy there!I miss Cadel

Yes. Of course. Every system in every place is bang out of order. If we need slurs like this for an enjoyable conversation to break out, don't you think we're doing something wrong in
general?
Slurs and banter can be fun, and I am not against them in general, but we should stop at normalizing dehumanizing speech, even if it leads to some funny comments, just because of a *** bike race.
If I understand him correctly it's the neutralization and starting up again that brothers him. You can lose the race right there, without doing any racing at all. I'm not sure I agree with him, but the organizers really need to have a very good reason for letting the riders stand around like that. That's a good lesson, but nonetheless I think it's ugly in general.
