hard to say from viewing only, but going by the results, I would think the conditions kept on improving during the stage

So Ineos wins but Ayuso in the lead. 17 seconds over Vingegaard in the GC? The Dane should attack tomorrow on Uchon wall.

Suprised by visma with those TT specialist only 4. Likewice impressed by Ineos. Lidl was good but also expected.
Jonas even if he is declining somewhat or not he should still be the best her. Should be a good race now.

Tejada and Lenny the biggest losers among the serious GC contenders, unsurprisingly. Losing more than a minute each, while everyone else with big ambitions were withing 41 seconds of each other.

the only thing this race is missing is another 2nd tier contender like Remco

Judging by UAE Tour he is more like 4th tier contender.
Though this route is much more Volta Comunitat Valenciana than UAE Tour, so he would've been almost a favourite.

It will rain all day tomorrow, also cross-tailwind during the stage, but sometimes consistent rainfall lowers the wind speed a bit.

That's a very serious final 1.8km. Should probably favour Vingegaard over Ayuso, but Ayuso might be in better shape. Lenny and Onley somewhere in the mix too.
