If only Iglinskiy was a little less opportunistic, Astana would've almost certainly won with Gasparotto...
Astana messed it up badly hut I doubt he would have beaten this albasini anyway.

I'm not sure if "unlucky" is the word you'd use if Gesink had fallen

On many occasions crashing is the result of poor technique... surely wouldn't have been the case here though.

quintana had a flat tire :( unfortunate.
Yes, it's unfortunate. Like getting caught behind a gap in a descent ;)

Quintana didn't look very strong coming back though. He wasn't very far behind at some point. Westra did a better job.

That's hilarious. :D

Quintana simply crash-flatted during a hungerknock. No way he just made some poor tactical decision!

Impossible. Quintana has the best technique in the peloton. Well, that's not completely true, Henao is even better, but still, second best.

westra was behind 50 metres in a downhil. quintana was always far behind and without teammates(only immediately after his crash one helped) as well, he pulled the group to the finish

That's true.

I think eurosport is mixing gesink with ulissi. There was clearly a lampre jersey coming in fifth or sixth.

he didn't have a hunger knock, or else he wou;d've lost far more and not lead the grouo to the finish

I don't know, Gasparotto looked the fastest...if Iglinskiy kept the field togheter instead of trying to go solo, the result I'm sure would've been very different

No, Quintana wasn't very far behind on the climb. But he couldn't turn a bigger gear. Seemed a bit like Gesink ;)

yea, Quintana looked weak on the second last hill. No real power in the attack. Lets see what he can do Friday.

Front group should have kept Westra at bay in the last part today. Poor communication?

Any race which after 6 days has only managed to seperate the top 20 riders by 18 seconds, is a failure.
