well, this should give us a bit of action.
GC before stage:
Jeannesson +1:49
Bardet +3:38

Also Bookwalter and Pineau could be used on the flat part after the climb for the Tejay and Chavanel duo. Long shot and Sky is running the train.

Even Belgian TV thought he was doing poorly the last couple of days. He'll be fine by the Amstel, but it's unlikely he'll do anything this stage.

He's been a domestique this entire week and he had a flat tire the day before yesterday which would explain his time loss. Gilbert had no ambition on Montagne de Lure. He's never been this good in Paris-Nice before.

Someone who wears the rainbow stripes can only disappoint, expectations are Skyhigh, especially in Belgium I suppose.

Tbh he seems fine for now, PN is either too light or too hard for him. Performing at MSR shouldn't be a problem.

Which sprinters, if any are going to be there to battle at the end?

Looks like Bozic is still in the break. He'd have to be the fastest there unless Howard got over.

Really annoys me that Eurosport are showing this live & not Tirreno-Adriatico today. Stupid.

British Eurosport does. International one doesn't. Don't understand why did they show yesterdays race instead of today's 1st cat climbs.
