Mr. Andreas Klöden has two advantages heading into the TT...

His work ethic
Training base.
And the power and pull from the Leader's Yellow Jersey.

Three advantages I mean.
Klöden for the win.
C'mon, a no-brainer sheesh.

frankly im getting sick of time trials deciding races. Sure in PN you have to be able to climb a bit, but time after time we are seeing the likes of Martin who can TT win stage races.

I dont care who wins tommorow (and even if wiggins won it and won overall I dont think you deserve to win paris nice for sitting in wheels and then winning a tt) :/

Yeah, this is not what Paris-Nice is about. If Sean Kelly were dead he'd be spinning in his grave.

Come on Klodi...

Wasn't Swedish Lofkist a national TT champion that year?

I agree with the whole TT deciding the final GC of a race. Sure there were some pretty good climbs in the past stages but they were too far off from any splits in the GC and always allowed the sprinters to regroup.

I really do hope Klodi can ride a good TT tommorow. I cheered for him when he won today. Of course his biggest rival will be Tony Martin, but Andreas doesn't need to win the TT. He just needs to make sure he doesn't lose to much time.

I'll be having my fingers crossed.

No, he's only been national TT champion in 2004 at age 20. The last time he rode the national TTs was in 2008 when he was 3rd. In 2009 it was Alexander Wetterhall (now with endura racing) who was national TT champion.

Idisagree, yes tt's shouldn't decide the race but I think it is good to have a 27km time trial in a race like paris nice. Makes it a bit more balanced but the problem with this year is the climbing stages aren't really much at all.

The Louder video proves just how light their bikes are when the tech is running with the bike in hand and pushing Jeff.

It never fails to amaze me how light these things are.

Reminds me of the old Team Telekom and Astana days. Brilliant pic.

I couldn't see the stage yesterday but I heard that Vino did a monster turn at the front to crack up the peleton for Roman and Robert. Typical Vino.
He might surprise a few people in the ITT also.

He didn't, he barely dropped anyone. He'll probably safe himself for an attack the comming days, because his shape is clearly not good enough to get a good result in the ITT.

Can't say I agree, now when someone apparently has decided that time trials shall basically be removed from GTs I think it is only fair that the TTers who can climb get their chance to win one week races at least. It's nothing that stops the climbers from attacking, though, and I think Tony Martin might get into trouble on the last stage if someone like Movistar decides they want to make it a hard race. Tondo shouldn't be too far off the pace in the time trial.

+1 It's not called the race of truth for a laugh.

Anyway, plenty of hills still to come...

Okay. Just heard from someone.
Vino is actually trying to peak for the Ardennes Leg of season.

Highlight of the week - Tommy de Gendt, who has been a revelation.
Disappointment of the week - BMC who have been totally non-existent since the start.

From that clip ACF posted I understand they had Brent Bookwalter as one of their two team leaders for this race. What were they thinking? The other leader Morabito has been disappointing, but Bookwalter simply isn't good enough for this stuff.

Are we surprised?
BMC 2011 little better than BMC 2010 in terms of their collective ability to get over big ramps. They just aren't designed for the big tours.

Just imagine where they would be, were Cadel to pick up a long-term injury.

The PT handout and where are Geox debate raises it's head again.

Ok, not on the same level. But since we are talking about non-existent teams...waht about bretagne-schuller? Only yesterday I was watching the recap of the stage to notice an unfamiliar jersey. Then I remembered they were actually granted a wild card.

Seriously, not been following closely, but did they at least got in a break? Or are they just enjoying the the sun and snacks at the back?

Bretagne-Schuller have the excuse that they're not a WorldTour team. And I've seen Romain Hardy in a breakaway.

And Vacansoleil instantly proves that without Ricco/Mosquera, they are still lightyears ahead of BMC.

BMC still have Evans, Vacans have no one at that level.
