so 1,2,4 on the stage now 1,2,3 on gc.

PLeased for brad but not overly convinced stage races should be decided by tt's

There were some decisions especially yesterday and also on stages before.
Still few stages to go with some mountains. It's not done yet and you can't win that race just because you can TT.
Martin was also on frontgroup yesterday, just not winning the stage.

Samy confirmed that it was a very hard stage and there were definately enough mountains to drop all the goodclimbing SKY-riders. Strange.

So, you still make no sense but you can shake hands with MV. I see you are supporting each other. Good luck. :D

It "surprises" me that Vino hasn't won a stage yet. A few people in this forum have been going all kinds of crazy over him all week. Might I say it is starting to become tiresome. :)

Hills just before the finishes will stop any of the sprinters being there but a big group 40-50 should arrive togthers, not really enough to drop Martin.

Last stage has two Cat-1 climbs, that should sort everyone out.

basically 2 cat1's rolled into one, but about 90 kms from the finish
The final circuit has a few smaller climbs in it, we'll definitely see attacks there.

That final climb is 1.5 km at about 6%, by the looks of it.

So, how do you go about getting the yellow jersey from Martin tomorrow, on this?

# Km 102.0 - Côte de Cabris - 7.5 km climb to 5.9 % - Category 1
# Km 112.0 - Col du Ferrier (1041 m) - 4.3 km climb to 6.8 % - Category 1

The back of Biot is a bit hilly, granted, but to get there, it's 50kms from the top of the final categorized climb.

Isn't Talansky the good climber from the Tour of L’avenir from last year?

If he is, it looks like he is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah, he finished 2nd I think.

He's a good TT rider, winning the US u23 ITT championship last year... but I don't think he's ever shown to be this good. He was something like 15th in the U23 world ITT, solid but unspectacular.

Tomorrow is such a pathetic stage. I hope the break takes it because I don't want to see a bunch of 70 just rolling up to the finale and seeing someone win by 2s. The final km is around 6%.

Sunday... maybe they can work Martin and HTC over, but I think so given what we've seen so far this week.

I think Klöden did well today to hold on to some slim hope of winning. I guess if it was a Sanchez you would give them more of a chance to win it.

Porte did significantly better than Martin in the second half. Props.

Was the fastest of anyone over the second half I think (well, I only looked at the top 10 or so).

1-2minute range!

But yesterday's result kind of made it irrelevant. i.e. I was wrong about the climbing result, not so much the ITT one.

Interesting stage. I hope there will be some serious attacks for the overall classification in the next two stages.

tommmorows stage will be won by a breakaway group while the gc contenders all watch each other and take it easy..

breakaway will have De Gendt and Uran in it.

Sunday will be the day they try to attack Martin.

Not really Mr.Whiner. Because he is right and you try to bring people on against me without any sense.
You sound more and more desperate.
I don't expect changes for tomorrow, but surely on Sunday, like it was the case yesterday.
If you read this thread again, you will notice that you and your whining Skyfriend are surely a minority group with your conclusions.
Great, the huge majority isn't on your whining-side. Not really surprising because you are telling BS for 6 days now.
Have fun on Sunday with that little climbing there that has no impact on GC, like yesterdays stage. :D

Sad for you that Martin is a good climber AND is a great TTer.
He really doesn't deserve to win P-N, does he ?

You can turn it like you want - your whining still makes no sense.
