I don't think there's anything sexist or wrong with acknowledging some of these athletes are very attractive people, and they are also very fit! I think Gabby Thomas is gorgeous, for example.

One more event for the heptathlon, the 800m sounds like a tough event to close with. (Probably similar to the decathletes' 1500m, everyone is just really pooped out at that point.)

I don't have the stats in front of me but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. The US men haven't won the gold since 2000 and they won a silver in 2004, and it's been nothing but nothingness since. I just don't think they spend enough time practicing together, and their egos might play a role as well.
