What makes you think that was a Boonen fan? That's a drunk guy doing something stupid. You think Boonen has never gotten beer on him at Paris-Roubaix? I smelled differently. The guy in the vid even says "doe normaal man" which means "act normal dude".

I hope it rains. Ive never seen a paris roubaix with rain. It would be much more difficult and there would be a more unpredictable finish. btw I think Degenkolb will do well. Maybe top 5. Kind of like a Hushovd. (just actually in shape)

the most "wonderfull" Paris Roubaix to me was one of the first i saw as kid on television in 1987 in real terrible conditions, snow, freezing temperatures ... it was more like a ballet of rider to stay upright

Those 3-4 forecasts I read promised cloudy weather but no rain. Slight chance of 0,1 mm. Previous forecasts said a lot of rain saturday which would be just as good as rain sunday, but not even that looks like happening.

That image tells nothing about the amount of water there'll be.

Meteo France currently shows rain Saturday morning for Nord Pas de Calais then dry until Sunday evening. Slight wind assist for the first 100km or so then a strong head wind for the W/NW run in to the velodrome.

I'm such a bad person for actually being disappointed about this!
But then again; I'm not the only one I think! :p

Definately not the only one.

I knew this would happen. Big hopes, but in the end dissapointment.

Leukemans is indeed out.

the Inner Ring ‏
No Paris-Roubaix for Bjorn Leukemans of Vacansoleil-DCM, out with a knee injury. Peter Sagan is not riding either.

Was Stu O'Grady the last one in 2007 to win a dusty, dry P-R? Or has there been others since then? Point being, you have a point there... O'Grady who in 2007 was a decent racer still although on the downside of his career, would not have been the guy I would have picked to win in 2007.
