Rowe was drifting left and right at very low speed on Wallers, just when the MvdP came by at full speed, causing a massive crash taking out Pedersen and (I now think) Bert De Backer and 1-2 more riders.

That's one and the same stretch in my book (we call it Wallers-Arenberg, as the forest is officially Bois du Wallers-Arenberg), but you're right that the Wallers-Helesmes section (Pont Gibus) is probably the section that should be called Wallers (but ofcourse Pont Gibus is the better name for that one).

are we sure it was Rowe & not Kwiatowski? the race centre has rowe in the front group but Kwia seems to have disappeared.

Senechal had one coming out of the previous sector I think so probably didn't even make it back to them before Arenberg
