Pretty unlucky, but if vA doesnt puncture (which ill expect any minute now)and is infact the strongest I can easily see him win. Whats coming should be selective enough plus hes getting a free ride kind of

close enough

Philipsen swayed to the right just as VDP was coming through, which made VDP take out Degenkolb.

Even though the gap was small from the beginning... it is a racing incident and just very unfortunate. Feel terrible for Degenkolb, he deserved better today.

...and a completely avoidable and stupid accident.

Wout van Aert after keeping everything under control throughout decides to attack when there's a crash, and for anybody who wanted to question the morals of it, he got instant karma. And then the guy that helped cause the accident gets to go solo because of that puncture.

I think they should both be DQed for cowardice for riding off the cobbles on sector 3 though. You shouldn't be able to win Roubaix unless you rode all of the cobbled sectors.

We'll probably see Pedersen, Küng, Ganna and WvA chase MvdP together the last 10 K, with Philipsen on their wheel... not over yet I think.

The man really is as thick as a plank (pun intended), but unfortunately he's so strong it doesn't matter.
