Hysterical anti chicane brigade: IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED!!! THE RACE COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT, I'M JUST NOT SURE HOW???!!!

Me: Nothing happened...try decaf. Mathieu takes the win solo, regardless. Prolly fewer broken bones this year. Pity that, huh...

It was a big factor in Alpecin shredding the peloton so early to not have anything with chicane risk
...you know that they wouldn't have ridden the fastest pace every in P-R, regardless, how? Again, if we were all fish, this would have played out completely differently.

My opinion is that holding the race on saturday values the Paris - Roubaix Femmes so we can watch it properly, but yesterday's race surely missed all this human audience on the fields.
Why are people trying to force people to like women cycling? Just should earn that and not always backing on the men to help their audience.

Let us discount the immense impact that the chicane had on the race and simply agree that the chicane is incredibly stupid.

Küng will stop riding with Pithie behind. Philipsen waiting on Vermeersch. Hope they can bridge.

Hope she faces charges. Thats almost worse than Allez Omi and Opi - there I actually felt a bit sad for the girl, since she was just stupid/misjudging the situation. This was intentional.

E: but sadly often such things are only rated by the impact and since luckily nothing happened, I fear she will just get away.

Utterly egregious.

Deliberately trying to hurt a person.
